Interesting. I wouldn't deny winning the lawsuit did seem to boost Alex's ego quit a bit, but how do you know Twitter increased their termination of accounts related to Covid skeptics?

Nothing I can prove. But I was a vocal skeptic and followed many others in that orbit whose accounts suddenly stopped showing up in my timeline. So any evidence is anecdotal. That said, I’m confident in it. FWIW.

It was a fully expected, but still unhappy day when Twitter banished you again, but I'm happy to see you've found Substack, where free speech is still free. For now, anyway.

I agree with Hershblogger. If you offer subscriptions, I'll buy one. If you open a tip jar, I'll contribute from time to time.

Great to see you here. Thanks!

I'd pay for a subscription, and if you don't want to do that, at least get a tip jar going.

Jeff, I have to say that even in this article, you use the term "left" and I see that as one of the more egregious misuses of the actual language. Since we are instead talking about Democrats these days, not liberals or progressives, but rather someone that is, by definition, dictatorial or fascist, I have found that pointing my complaints directly at the Democrat Party to be more in line with calling a spade a spade.

And please don't ever refer to me as "conservative," either. Man, I don't even know what that word means anymore.

Maybe get Patterico's thoughts on this one, too. That should be fun.

I don't think things will improve until non-leftists abandon sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc. Which is to say, I'm bearish on things improving at all. It's been over 20 years since the "mainstream media" has been demonstrated as permanently toxic to liberty and prosperity, yet non-leftists persist in consuming their content and seeking to participate in it. 20 years, lesson not learned.

I was permanently suspended on August 2nd for a similar tweet to your ban, I had previously asked for an appeal but almost immediately permabanned. 3 days later twitter said Sorry and reinstated me. I was amazed, hope that happens to you. Not saying don't sue twitter... Berenson mentioned his lawyers a few times in his tweets.
