It's always worth a re-read: "Who Goes Nazi?" by Dorothy Thompson, Harper's Magazine, Aug 1941. You'll no doubt recognize some of the types.

Excellent essay. Collectivism has no place on the Right.

"[I]n need of a greater show of strength, they’ll take all comers, provided those people swear allegiance to Christ, or at the very least, give lip service to just such an allegiance."

Oh no they won't. They'll make exceptions.

For example, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ("Mormons") will NOT be included, because we believe in the "wrong Jesus." Jehovah's Witnesses have never been accepted in the fold, and there are no doubt other sects and denominations that are not considered "Christian enough."

Which, I'll take the wins where I can get them.

There is no way in heaven or hell that I'll follow self-styled Christian warriors into battle of any kind. They're not authorized to organize an army in Christ's name any more than I am. They're exactly as suspect as the psychopaths who crave power under cover of ending racism or increasing diversity or whatever.

They even want to topple capitalism. Is that a Year Zero aspiration I hear in the background? That by itself disqualifies them from being anything near to a worthy cause. Nobody in their right mind aspires to Year Zero, because we all know how it turns out: from the ashes of the old civilization arises the nightmare regime such as has arisen among the Nazis, Bolsheviks, Khmer Rouge, Maoists, and sundry African and Latino nations.

Learn to recognize the psychopaths. Stop them in their tracks. Resist them at every turn.
