Australian authorities thwarted a potential mass-casualty event aimed at Jewish targets in what is becoming a dangerous and hostile environment for Jewish citizens in Western countries. While mainstream media and Western universities push narratives of an Israeli “genocide” of Gazan children, social media has been likewise flooded with non-stop anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, and anti-Jew propaganda.

Now, the fruits of that poison tree are beginning to flower. Australian officials hid the news of the averted attack from citizens until a reporter broke the story independently.

A major attack targeting the Jewish community in Sydney was foiled by the New South Wales police, law enforcement authorities said on Wednesday. An abandoned recreation vehicle containing a significant amount of explosives and the address of a synagogue was discovered in the northwestern suburbs of the city.

During a press conference, the district police chief specified that the power of the explosives could have caused considerable damage within a radius of at least 40 meters.

A special established by the federal police to combat antisemitism, set up in December, has already recorded more than 166 reports. Authorities are now looking into the possibility of foreign involvement at the origin of the increase in these acts. Reece Kershaw, the head of the federal police, said law enforcement is investigating possible external funding used to sponsor local criminals.

The authorities are particularly concerned about the online radicalization of the young authors of these acts. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has labeled these attacks as acts of terrorism, underlining the severity of the threat and the need for a coordinated response from security services.

This agitprop is being pushed largely at young men and women through various social media influencers and cultural critics — many ostensibly on “the right” — who may or may not be paid distributors of the anti-Jewish content they publish. Most worrying, though, is that much of that content is being packaged behind a veneer of Christian faith, “patriotism,” “nationalism,” and genetic determinism, all of which have become weaponized. In truth, Christian militancy, blood and soil patriotism, nativism, and scientific racism, have long been the bailiwick of the white supremacy movement, which in much of the West is a fringe ideology. But it hasn’t always been fringe.

In fact, those versed in US and world history will recognize that much of what is being pushed about Jews (and blacks, and Indians) is a direct regurgitation of early 20th-century Progressive orthodoxy.

It was this progressivism — in the main, Madison Grant’s The Passing of the Great Race — that inspired Hitler and his own brand of Nordicism, into a systemic eugenics program aimed at eliminating Jews, the infirm, homosexuals, and gypsies.

Coupled to this resurgence on the “new right” of progressive scientific racism, is the antisemitic literature created by the Soviets and taken up by Hitler and his Grand Mufti, Amin al-Husseini, who spread the material to the Arab Middle East, where today remains the heart of 21st-century Nazism.

It is no accident that so many of the antisemitic new right — the Woke Right, as they’ve been dubbed, sometimes controversially — eventually reveal an affinity to Islamism and its authoritarian tactics. Anti-Zionist channels purporting to be on the right will routinely amplify channels run by Islamists in support of Hamas and Hezbollah. These channels often hide their provenance, in keeping with the propaganda strategy.

On the left, large endowments made by countries sympathetic to the destruction of Israel and the erasure not only of Israel, but of Jews and Western society itself from within the Middle East, have created the other prong of this latest antisemitic push in the West. The result is an ideological horse shoe, with Western Scottish Enlightenment and Madisonian liberalism being surrounded and squeezed by postmodern authoritarianism on either end.

There are a number of powerful countries who wish to destroy Western ideas and values, and I suspect if we were able to peek under the hood of this manufactured moral panic against Jews, we’d find their money and their influence along with their fingerprints.

The most virulent antisemites are emboldened by the freedom they have to traffic in antisemitic tropes in an era of open digital media, which is as it should be: they should have the freedom to mouth their hate, and good people should blunt the impact by turning their backs on such hatred and the people giving voice to it.

Sadly, our education system has been so degraded by a Marxian design that many Gen Z-ers and beyond are susceptible to even the most hamfisted propaganda; they’ve been trained not as students but as activists. And that “activism” can be collected, readied, and directed at a moment’s notice by malign forces capable of launching a propaganda campaign / psyop.

We know what the left gets out of this: they despise Israel and the West in general, whom they consider insidious colonialist forces out to oppress noble brown savages in desperate need of white Western light petting. It’s pure post-colonialist dreck, postmodern in its worldview, but it appeals to people who like to believe they’ve been awakened to the world’s real power dynamics, which are hidden beneath bourgeois morality and patriarchal, hetero-normative, systemically racist prevailing narratives meant to buttress the oppressor and his claims on the oppressed.

That is, they won’t let the Man steal their precious bodily fluids, no sir!

What does conservatism or classical liberalism get from this? Only the attempt at its destruction — which we’re supposed to believe is now coming from both sides, left and right. But that’s not really the case, at least not in the American sense of the term “right.”

The truth is, Americanism itself is under attack. Merit is to be replaced either by some form of “Heritage American” welfare (“right”) or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs (left); colorblindness is to be replaced by a foregrounded racial consciousness; the melting pot replaced by either a quilt (left) or a single white sheet and its attendant hood (“right”)

The Woke Right is entirely a mirror image of the woke left, and there’s a reason for that. They aren’t conservative in any recognizable way. Their idea of a Christian nationalism is a polished reboot of National Socialism.

This is leftism that’s been smuggled into the conservative movement through opportunists who used MAGA populism as cover. Like the leftists whose epistemic architecture they adopt, they, too, believe they have the vision of the elect, which makes them capable of seeing the real levers of power in the country, which they identify as Jewish influence, particularly in such things as multiculturalism and immigration. These are systems of national demographic design that the secretive commie Jew maintains thru control of media, banking, entertainment, and an “occupation” of the US, thru Jew lobbying, that tends to own hapless non-Jews in Congress. Unless, of course, they’re woke.

The accusations are a self-indictment — the poor goyim are no match for the demonic Jew! — but the way to change that age-old dynamic is thru Christ as inquisitor, and a Christian army that has read its Nietzsche and studied Islamic theocrats and Chinese technocrats. They may proclaim “Christ is King!” But what they really mean is that they’ve claimed a divine right to Balkanize on his behalf. Or to hate in His name.

Which is truly revolting to watch.

This is just another iteration of identity Marxism, of course, albeit one drunk on Rapture. And as I’ve been pointing out since at least 2016, it’s not of “the right” at all. Like the 20th-century progressives before them, the Woke Right rejects individualism; wants more involvement of the state in moral questions; and is no real protector of the Constitution, which like Woodrow Wilson and Obama, they see as either ineffective or fundamentally flawed.

It’s updated Klan. Neo-Nazism. Both of which grew or became resurgent as a result of American progressivism. It’s DARVO. And the needy narcissists who engagement farm on the back of such potentially deadly rhetorical incitement are truly the worst of us — and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near our children.

If we don’t act fast, I expect we have seen just the tip of the iceberg with regards to violence against Jews.

Trump appears to be aware of the antisemitic voices burrowing their way into his movement — as well as those so pervasive throughout the left, particularly in the academy. While many of the Woke Right antisemites purport to be a key part of the MAGA movement, the truth is, actual proponents of the movement want no part of them — even and especially as they move to radicalize our kids, then brag about how successful they’ve been in doing so.

President Donald Trump will sign education-related executive actions that aim to combat antisemitism on campuses, ease money for school choice programs and cut funds for public schools that teach critical race theory, according to the White House.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the moves Wednesday on Fox News. Trump campaigned on reshaping the Department of Education and cracking down on what conservatives bemoan as a left-leaning political climate in schools.

The order on antisemitism directs federal agencies to examine ways to investigate antisemitic intimidation — including at college campuses — and to identify any civil or criminal authorities available. It calls for the deportation of protesters who violated laws during demonstrations following Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, according to the New York Post, which first reported the order. Agencies must provide recommendations within 60 days.

Trump during the campaign vowed to deport protesters and revoke the accreditation of colleges that did not address anti-Jewish hate speech or violence on their campuses.

Antisemitic “MAGA” is brushing off the seriousness of this EO, noting that it will mainly be used to punish those here on student visas who protested on behalf of Hamas and Hezbollah.

But were I some of these folks, I’d look at what Trump is doing to implement his agenda and maybe begin to sweat a bit.

Personally, I’d like to see the finances of those who in the last year have turned the near entirety of their content creation into antisemitic conspiracy mongering.

As a country, we’d be safer for it.
