Thanks!

-- though I have been reliably told by a handful of Instapundit commentators that the piece is "circumlocutious," "rococo," "baroque," and riddled with grammatical errors I myself cannot find.

Little help, anyone?

I think that Balzac's Citroen Driver (how's that for a screen name?) just wanted to use the words "rococo" and "baroque" in a sentence.

You'd be surprised at how many people over the years have complained about my "run-on sentences" without understanding what a "run-on sentence" is.

So I wouldn't doubt it.

I just subscribed for free as a test run. I used to enjoy your blog so if the postings here are as good, I'll chip in some $ later. Great photo of Rep. Boebert, by the way. Love that holster.

Glorious.

Only thing missing is your title under your name:

A new complaint has arisen from the Disqus professoriat: I need to run spellcheck.

I write these essays on my phone. Can't edit from there since a software update, so corrections have to wait until I get to my computer.

As far as I can see, I've made the corrections since sending this out as an email newsletter.

If I'm missing something, please let me know.

While it’s true you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, the best option of all is to rid yourself of the flies entirely, and in that respect, both honey and vinegar should be replaced on the shelf, the house tented, and the whole thing bombed with the kind of powerful and clarifying insecticide that reminds the flies who actually owns the place.

Truth bomb?

Enjoyable and acute use of language sir. Shared a bit of you on a blog which reaches tens of thousands on a good day. Join in at Thelastrefuge.com.
