The mainstream press and trans-activists are trying to pin the targeted shooting deaths of 6 people, including three nine-year-old children, on Christians, while simultaneously rehabilitating the shooter, a “trans man”. Fair…?

Good piece asking if we should be grouping people by age. From my own perspective, the people I like to group by age are wives. The younger the better…!

Nashville police ran to the sound of gunfire and put holes in a woman who was herself shooting up an elementary school. It was fourteen minutes from the time of the first 911 call to the end of the murder spree. In Uvalde, heavily-armed police in tactical gear, carrying ballistic shields, staged outside and dawdled as nineteen children and two adults were mowed down by a single eighteen-year-old gunman. Questions: is it smart to outsource your own defense, or the defense of your family members, to civil servants, especially given the disparity between the two reactions? Is it okay to note that it wasn’t the “battle rifle,” nor the velocity of a 5.56 round, that stopped the Uvalde police from acting — but rather that they chose their own safety over their oaths…? I’ll answer: No. And of course, yes…

For so-called “red flag laws” to have prevented the Covenant shooting, we’d have to concede, as a society, that body dysmorphia is a mental illness — which it was, up until about a minute ago, when the Queer cult, an arm of Woke Inc., was able to convince doctors that there was plenty of money to be made in “gender affirming care,” while simultaneously convincing the rest of the left that there was plenty of potential power in ordaining yet another victim group, adding it to the alphabet litany, and carving it into the intersectional totem pole. So it erases women. Literally reduces them to an outdated construct. Is that really a bad thing…? You tell me…!

TikTok should be banned. But not by the RESTRICT Act. The legislation banning TikTok should be one sentence and look something like this. “We hereby ban TikTok in the United States, so shove it up your Communist squeakholes, China.” Anything else is a Uniparty power grab…

I like the color blue. A lot. But I still wouldn’t want to marry it…

I can’t say it’s dispositive, but as an FFL, I have never had a criminal come by and fill out paperwork for a gun purchase and a background check. People may later become criminals, of course — and maybe at such time the left would try to blame me for not being a pre-cog — but the truth is, we either choose freedom, which can be messy, or we choose the safety of a NannyState rotted through with cultural Marxists and other flavors of eager would-be tyrants just waiting on our surrender. Let’s call this a time for choosing…

…Dubious timing aside, Ms Berry seems to be implying that, as Audrey Hale did, shooting “transphobes” — loosely defined as those people who don’t on a regular basis celebrate overweight men in Cher garb twerking in libraries for an audience of captive children — is a perfectly reasonable iteration of “hate has consequences.” Of course, Ms Berry would presume to define what counts as hate, as well as who should receive what consequences, because that’s how authoritarian gashbags roll.

Looking at the above placard, I think, “To the trans-activist wing of the neo-Maoist Red Guard, ‘existing’ is insisting that reality itself bend to your will. It is we who need to worry about being allowed to exist, not the beatified victim class and their politically protected foot soldiers.” But then sometimes I’m just ornery…!

Attorney General Merrick Garland, in testimony before Congress, could not say what the motive was of the Covenant shooter — which is odd, because she left behind a tranifesto that we haven’t yet been allowed to see. But you know ol’ Merrick’s seen it. You tell me: are the lefties inside the Deep State scrubbing it…?

The only good commie is a dead commie, we used to say. Seems not too long ago, in fact. Question: Were we really that intolerant? Isn’t inviting the Marxist left to insinuate itself so thoroughly into the fabric of our language and the pillars of our institutions such that we lose the country as founded and find ourselves permanently enslaved by the tyranny of the marginalized, really just a “blessing of liberty”…? I know of a guy who thinks so, and he’s very well read. Also, quite Christian. Absolute moral authority…?

I think it’s time to end this column and eat a sandwich. Maybe even have a beer or three. Question: If you don’t like beer, can you really even call yourself an American…?
